I love this idea. It's amazing the beneficial work a little oyster can do sucking in dirty water and spitting out clean water (grossly oversimplified, I know). One of the companies I work with has a Sentinel Reeftek module that is specifically designed and shaped to develop permanent oyster reefs, while preventing poaching. These units weigh thousands of pounds and if a waterman pulled a dredge across one (intentionally or by accident) it would literally rip their transom off. They are that strong!
