New Package of High Density Polyethylene for Water Pipelines
Published on by Water Network Research, Official research team of The Water Network in Technology
SABIC has unveiled the latest polyethylene package that paves way for the production of pipes of greater diameter and higher density while maintaining an excellent stability.
The use of high dimension pipes reinforces efficiency of transporting large quantities of liquids especially in industrial projects such as water desalination stations and infrastructure pipes in large cities.
SABIC® HDPE P6006LS new product is considered the best choice in giant mining projects, especially to manufacture tubes that transport water and clay in addition to tubes used in desalination stations and other projects that require tubes of big dimensions and high density.
SABIC® HDPE P6006LS is a black colored high density (class MRS 10 MPa) polyethylene (HDPE) grade. Possesses toughness, recyclability, flexibility and delivers an exceptional low sag performance for large-diameter pipes and pressure pipes with low standard dimension ratio (SDR). Applications include pressure pipes for portable water, gas, sewage and other liquids.
