The Knick SE 630 digital Memosens conductivity sensors available fromAlvi Technologiesare critical components in the CIP cycle.
All process instruments that come in contact with the end product are required to be thoroughly sanitised to eliminate bacterial contamination. Conductivity sensors are critical components in the design of the CIP cycle. The various cleaning solutions have more conductivity than the water used for flushing and final rinse.
The Knick SE 630 Memosens sensor can monitor the strength of the cleaning solutions as they become diluted by residual rinse water and the cleaning process itself. Conductivity measurement will indicate the need for replenishment of the cleaning solution.
