Organica Water's MM2100 Industrial Park’s 45 MLD capacity wastewater treatment plant utilising Organica’s FCR solution has just been shortlisted on 2017’s GWI Awards in the Industrial Water Project of the Year category.
The main challenge of this project was to fit into a footprint as small as possible, to maximize gains from monetizing the space around the facility, and to eliminate the aesthetic nuisances caused by the existing facility.
The FCR solution, which leverages the use of root structures to support a robust biological process, uniquely met the project challenges, fitting in half the space of a conventional facility.
