OriginOil Inc., developer of Electro Water Separation™, the high-speed, primarily chemical-free process to clean up large quantities of water, announced today that it recently entered the commercial stage for all three of its application areas
The oil & gas water cleanup division is performing in field demonstrations, and sales have begun of both small and large systems.
"We received our first seven-figure purchase order last December to clean up water in the Arabian Peninsula, and our Bakersfield research site is showing promising results today at the demonstration scale," saidBill Charneski, President of OriginOil's Oil & Gas division. "We are now receiving a steady stream of prospective customers at the site, and the demonstrations are extremely popular."
Meanwhile, the Algae division is ramping up itsSmart Algae Harvester™ product line and is achieving steady sales.
"The new algae line is proving popular, led by theentry-level A25 model," saidJean-Louis Kindler, Chief Commercial Officer. "In the past three months, we have delivered machines to the Czech Republic, the U.S., and we are now manufacturing for shipping to Hong Kong, Europe and also Canada. We're hustling to keep up with orders!"
Finally, the Waste division is successfully completing initial tests with prospects.
"We've held off from selling into the waste water treatment industry, just to stay focused," saidNicholas Eckelberry, OriginOil's Chief Research Office and a co-founder. "But recently, we began making breakthroughs in East Asia, where we are showing that we can successfully process tannery effluents, for example. We are actively quoting systems now in the waste water treatment category, in the agri-food industry, bilge water treatment for ships and cutting oil recovery for machine shops."
As a technology company, OriginOil is dedicated to licensing and private labeling its EWS technology. It is also manufacturing complete systems to meet demand while its partners tool up.
