ICAP Patent BrokerageAnnounces Global Licensing and Manufacturing Opportunities for Proven, Award Winning Green Technologies
ICAP Patent Brokerage announces for license a multi-patented, revolutionary Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) from Ecosphere Technologies, Inc., a leading developer of patented Clean Water and Clean Energy related technologies, that is currently being used by Fortune 500 customers to reduce costs, increase treatment efficiencies and eliminate liquid chemicals from wastewater treatment operations around the United States and Canada. In addition, the firm announces for license a recently patented solar powered micro-utility from Ecosphere that features a unique array of stacked solar panels that can be deployed anywhere in the world to maximize off-grid energy production needs.
Licensing / Manufacturing opportunities for both IP packages are available through ICAP Patent Brokerage.
"Ecosphere continues to hold the dominant position in combining multiple Advanced Oxidation Technologies and has an extensive patented portfolio of intellectual property that includes 7 approved United States patents and 14 patents pending for its Ozonix® technology," stated Dean Becker, CEO of ICAP Patent Brokerage. "Ecosphere's patented Ozonix® technology is the most proven, patented and award winning water treatment technology available today to kill bacteria in industrial and municipal water applications without the use of liquid chemical biocides."
Becker continued, "In addition, the Ecos PowerCube® is the world's largest mobile, self-contained and deployable solar powered generator. This innovative patented solar technology was designed to meet the growing demand for off-grid energy, telecommunication and water utility needs and has the potential to be one of the most important solar patented innovations of our generation."
Major Awards & Accolades
In November 2014, Ecosphere's patented Ecos PowerCube® technology was recognized as a winner in the Green category of the 2014 Best of What's New Awards from Popular Science.
Each year, Popular Science reviews thousands of new innovative products and chooses the Top 100 winners across 12 categories for inclusion in the annual Best of What's New issue - the best-read issue of the year. To win, a product or technology must represent a significant step forward in its category. Ecosphere's patented Ecos PowerCube® solar panel array technology is featured in this month's (December 2014) special issue.
Technical Report on Increased Well Productivity
In November 2014, Ecosphere Technologies, Inc. and Fidelity National Environmental Solutions ("FNES"), a company in which Ecosphere Technologies holds a 31% interest, announced the release of a technical report titled "Statistical and "Bottom Line" Comparisons of Gas Production Yielded by using the Patented Ecosphere Ozonix® Technology Versus Chemical Biocide for the Hydraulic Fracturing of Natural Gas Wells" commissioned by Ecosphere.
The report focuses on an extensive 3-year study, which compares the magnitude of gas production yielded by two distinctly different methods currently being implemented for treating water to control bacteria, scale, microbiologically induced corrosion, and biofilms associated with the hydraulic fracturing process of natural gas wells.
Technology Description: Ozonix®
The patented Ecosphere Ozonix® technology combines ozone, hydrodynamic cavitation, acoustic cavitation and electro-chemical oxidation into one broad-spectrum water treatment technology to oxidize and destroy organic matter, bacteria, biofilms, heavy metals, hydrocarbons and sulfides that are typically found in industrial wastewaters. Ozonix® eliminates the need for conventional liquid chemical biocides and scale-inhibitors that are typically required to control bacteria growth and scale deposition in a wide variety of wastewater treatment and disinfection applications.
Since 2008, Ozonix® has enabled oil and gas customers to treat, recycle and reuse over 5 billion gallons of water for approximately 1,200 oil and natural gas wells in the United States, protecting $5+ billion worth of well assets, eliminating millions of gallons of chemical biocides and generating over $70 million in revenue for its first licensee in the energy field-of-use. The Company has also successfully deployed approximately 50 Ozonix® machines to a wide variety of major hydraulic fracturing shale plays around the United States and most recently Canada.
Available Licensing Opportunities: Ozonix®
Exclusive and non-exclusive licensing and manufacturing opportunities are available for numerous industries and applications around the world including but not limited to mining, agriculture, food and beverage, industrial, marine and municipal wastewater treatment. Licensees of this intellectual property portfolio will have the ability to market, manufacture and provide this chemical-free water treatment technology, in specific fields of use in selected geographic areas.
Technology Description: Ecos PowerCube®
Designed to meet the growing demand for off-grid energy, with a unique array of stacked solar panels, the patented Ecos PowerCube® maximizes the total amount of solar power generation possible in ISO shipping container footprints. With solar power generation capabilities up to 15 kW, the Ecos PowerCube® can be transported by land, air, or sea and is ideally suited to support off-grid military, disaster relief, humanitarian and wireless communication efforts.
