AF Vertical Froth Pump Description

The viscous chemical froth produced for mineral processing and oilsand extraction, though necessary, can quickly overwhelm the capabilities of a standard  slurry pump .To address this concern, specifically the Pansto AF series froth pump to convey frothy, corrosive slurry.
Among their many benefits, when working, these pumps can effectively eliminate the foam of slurry weight and can maintain normal function, despite insufficient incoming materials. They are especially suitable for various flotation processes and are also ideal for conveying foamed paste.

This series of pumps can effectively eliminate the froth in the slurry when working, and can still work normally under the condition of insufficient incoming materials, especially suitable for various flotation processes, is the ideal product for conveying froth slurry.

1. Robust Structural Design:  Featuring a double-casing with lined wear and corrosion-consistent wetted parts, and a sturdy vertical shaft, ensuring reliability and an extended service life.
2. Optional Wetted Parts:  Commomly made from high chrome alloy, rubber, or polyurethane are availabe for enhanced adaptability to highly corrosive slurry with froth.
3. Special Conical Tank:  Employing a conical feed tank with a tangential feed inlet and an overflow port, this design improves the contact time between froth ore slurry and air. It facilitates air bubbles escape, ensuring the efficient discharge of excess froth from the tank.
4. Optimal Impeller Design:  Utilizing a semi-open impeller with vanes on the upper side of the impeller shroud, creating a vortex that aids in air bubbles escaping from around the shaft.
5. Flexible Drive Arrangement:  Choose between direct coupling or belt drive based on working conditions and individual preferences.
6. Reliable Bearing Assembly:  Adopting integrally movable cartridge bearing assembly from  SP  vertical sump  pumps with grease-lubricated roller bearings, allowing for easy maintenance and simple impeller clearance adjustment.
7. Cost Savings:  With no submerged bearings or shaft seals, the need for shaft seal water is eliminated, resulting in reduced operating costs.
