Partnership to Provide Drinkable Water in India

In an Effort to Support More EfficientCorporate Social Responsibility Projects in India, HaloSource & Eureka Forbes Ltd. Join Hands

HaloSource, Inc., parent company of HaloPure, has entered into a new partnershipwith the pioneers in the water purification industry; Eureka Forbes Ltd. (EFL).

Thisrelationship aims to support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects in Indiaand also contribute to HaloPure water purification product sales for HaloSource.

Eureka Forbes Ltd. is the leader in the water purification market with a 53% shareof all water purification devices in the country.

With this level of leadership,it is notsurprising that EFL has partnered with HaloSource in wanting to contribute tolower classes and small towns in peri-urban India by offering non-electric storagepurifiers at comparatively lower costs.

By 2015, it is estimated that 334 millionIndians will lack access to safe drinking water.

In order to improve thesefigures,EFL had in recent years teamed up with NGO's, such as World Vision and Oxfam, to

increase access to clean, safe water in rural communities and as part of disasterrelief efforts.

HaloSource has joined Eureka Forbes to help expand access to clean, safe drinkingwater to Indians by donating a percentage of HaloPure patented water purificationbead technology as a percentage of their overall sales volume.

This initiative is awin-win for both companies and for the broader community of households in Indiathat benefit from these corporate investments in communities, especially ruralcommunities, that lack access to clean water.
