Purified Mobile Water

State Irrigation Minister and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao is Taking All Possible Steps for the Development of His Constituency
Now he has prepared a plan to supply mobile purified drinking water to people in his constituency.
The minister has decided to implement the scheme on experimental basis in Siddipet town, which has a population of 1.20 lakh and 14,300 drinking water tap connections.
Currently drinking water is being supplied through Lower Manair reservoir, but some people are not getting water and are purchasing from private water purifying centers at high cost. In this situation, the minister has decided to supply pure water through mobile water purifying system.
Private water plants are selling 20 litres water can for Rs 20 to Rs 30. In some areas voluntary organisation Bala Vikas had dug ten bore wells and set up purification plants and supplying 20 litres for Rs 2 with Any Time Water system.
The organisation had issued Any Time Water cards to members, who can get water from the machine by swiping the card.
Harish Rao discussed with the organisation to supply water at door step at Rs 5 per 20 litres.
The representatives of the organisation agreed and are planning to set up plants within one month. Municipal officials and the organisation representatives are preparing plans for mobile water supply scheme.
