River: A new multidisciplinary, multisectoral, and multi‐issues journal

RIVER: A NEW MULTIDISCIPLINARY, MULTISECTORAL, AND MULTI-ISSUES JOURNAL EXPLORING ALL ASPECTS OF RIVERS FROM SOURCES TO SEAS - This new journal will promote sustainable management and development of rivers, including all the ecosystems interlinked with them, as well as their direct and indirect economic, social, political, environmental and cultural impacts. The journal will explore interrelationships between water, food, energy, environment and development as well as water’s direct and indirect relationships with other important issues like health, education and transportation. As the world changes rapidly, uncertainties of various types will increase, knowledge and technology will advance significantly and water management issues will become increasingly complex than ever before. Concepts and solutions of the past will no longer be as effective: some even require complete rethinking. Confucius said: “The essence of knowledge is having it, to apply it.” River will give special emphasis on how research results can be applied to improve human life and the environment. For the first three years, there will be no open access publication fee. For more information on submissions of original manuscripts or to read published articles, do visit https://bit.ly/3yFIyIB
