(1.) The pumped ground water from the well located on river bank should be taken to a nearby village in a brick-lined open channel to simulate surface water. (2) At high-school level the river water samples should be put under microscope for the students to see the polluting bacteria. This is a surest way to create repulsion about untreated river water.
