 Rivulis secures John Deere Water

RIVULIS Irrigation, which was recently acquired by FIMI Opportunity Funds, is the new company replacing John Deere Water.

"FIMI have been looking to purchase an irrigation company for over seven years," newly appointed CEO of Rivulis Irrigation, Richard Klapholz said.

"After a number of attempts during this time, we are pleased to secure the purchase of John Deere's irrigation division.

"The company had particular appeal to us as they manufacture a wide range of premium drip and micro irrigation products, the company holds an extensive global footprint, and there is large opportunity for growth."

The company will continue to manufacture its T-Tape, Hydrogol, HydroPC, HydroPCND and D5000 drip line products in Brisbane.

It will also continue to offer its range of sprinklers, sprays and drippers for orchard and greenhouse markets, and its range of filters will continue in their current form.
