We have been using Tritium, Carbon 14 and Freon 12 for decades. Tritium and C14 use is very well known. Freon 12 was invented in 1928 but only went int commercial production in 1932 or 34. It is persistent and weakly degradable and it is in every drop of rainfall anywhere on the planet.
