I am aware that and have seen ultrasonics kill crab embryos, at the right frequency, but not crabs. I have to presume that there is also a life stage of the sea lice (embryonic perhaps most likely) that is vulnerable to ultrasonic extermination because the cell walls are thin enough to be breached. Other aquatic organisms will also be vulnerable to destruction depending on their live cycle and stage of growth. Having these organisms pass through an ultrasonic screen will be a more effective method of control than an open pen scenario.
