Severn Trent Water is inviting people to find out more about its improvement plans.
The company is investing £1.5 million in water pipes and sewers in Loughborough. Work is due to begin next month.
Resident of Holt Drive and Beacon Road are being invited to a drop-in session on July 15 at Sacred Heart Catholic Voluntary School, Beacon Road.
Severn Trent Water will reveal its plans to help keep homes safe from flooding and burst pipes.
Work to install larger sewers and water pipes should be completed by March 2015
Manager Tim Sawyer said: "When the new sewers are in place, they will help keep homes safe from the threat of flooding.
"We want to keep disruption to a minimum. We find listening to suggestions and talking to residents helps us to find those little gems of information which can make a huge difference to our plans.
"So it would be great to see residents at our drop-in session on July 15.
"We're laying water pipes at the same time, so we get both jobs done at once.
"When our work is complete, we'll be replanting trees."
The drop-in session takes place from 1pm until 7pm.
