Spanish Foundation to Provide Tech for Gove Water Supply Infrastructure

The counsellor-delegate of the Spanish Elecnor Foundation, Rafael MartÃn de Bustamante Vegas, said last Monday, in Luanda, that the project involving his institution and Angola’s Eduardo dos Santos Foundation (FESA) is aimed at using the ETAP technology for treating the water from Gove dam for subsequent supply to the citizens of CuÃma locality, in the central Huambo Province
According to the official, who spoke to the press on the fringes of the signing of a co-operation agreement between FESA and Elecnor, the ETAP technology is to be installed in an area of 3000 square kilometres, which will also include a big warehouse to store equipment and tools, as well as offices and educational rooms, besides other facilities.
He disclosed that the Elecnor Foundation will supply the technical means and human resources in the necessary areas for the initial development of the project.
The agreement was signed by the vice president of FESA, Maria Antónia Nelumba, and the counsellor-delegate of the Spanish Elecnor Foundation, Rafael MartÃn de Bustamante Vegas, an act that was also attended by staffs from both organisations.
