La Paz County and Congressman Gosar are working in tandem to support jobs for our rural economy by introducing legislation that will allow the County to purchase 8800 acres to energize the Ten West Link on property that also is in the energy corridor. Starwood has been environmentally conscious, cooperative and gracious in working with all of the stakeholders to bring this project on line by 2020. We need it for grid resiliency, energy independence and to help our rural economy be more sustainable.

I am excited about the project in part for the independence of Energy from the fossil fuel power source. It may take time but the transition is well on its way.
