In the context of a GDC demo prj proposal for a circular systemic Water-Energy-Food Nexus solution addressing water scarcity & drought, as well as point- and non-point sources of water pollution in a coastal lagoon region, we are looking for the following tech providers:
1) low-cost monitoring & control platforms for key operational metrics (pH, DO, conductivity/salinity, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), temperature, etc.)
2) digital platform for real time detection of contaminants & priority compounds such as PCBs, microplastics, pesticides, pharmaceutical and personal care products, etc.
3) SARS-CoV-2 monitoring by qPCR and AI based early warning
4) passive water samplers
The existing consortium consists of more than a dozen of partners from PT, ES, DE, GR and CH. EU co-funding rate under the GDC would be 70% for private entities and 100% for public bodies. Expression of interest can be sent to aqualgarve(at)sapo.pt.
