Abdul Latif Jameel is part of an international consortium willing to invest over US$ 600 million in large-scale desalination plant in Al Shuqaiq, Saudi Arabia.
The plant will create 700 jobs to supply water for over 1.8 million people, and will revitalize agriculture and industry.
The Shuqaiq 3 IWP plant will be one of the largest desalination plants based on Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology in the world with over 7 km of RO vessels and able to generate 450,000 cubic meters per day.
