Ok, so we might just wait till the globe is contaminated then do something? Keeping in mind that every single person responds to substances differently and to different trace levels. This means that if trace or minuscule amounts of any such emerging pollutant is going to mix with some other minuscule trace amount thus forming another blend of pollutant we will know if it is killing anyone or causing birth defects only after the fact. So, the pollution is going to be evenly spread out? or are we going to test this out on someone in an under educated area. My fear is that the percentage of people who have enough money to avoid hazardous areas is the same people who profit from the very pollution.
