All that solar-desalination system is incredibly expensive ( $12/m3 water !!) Not to mention the extension of land required ! !Who needs that !! Let us think ahead in the future , NOT with SCHEMES OF PAST CENTURIES. Using floating nuclear reactors for desalination, ( 300 MWe , i.e. 700 MW heat) the production cost could achieve 0.50 $/m3
