Top US Water Work Contractor Named

Kansas City-based Company Garney Holding Co. Named One of the Nation's Top Companies for Water Work
According to a release from Garney, which runs Garney Construction Co., the company was ranked as the top contractor for water supply and water transmission lines work and ranked among the top 15 contractors for waste water treatment plants, sewerage and solid waste, water treatment and desalination plants, and sanitary and storm sewers. The rankings are based on construction contracting-specific annual revenue, a release said.
Engineering News-Recordalso ranked Garney within its top 400 contractors. It came in at the 101st spot on the 2014 list, which is an improvement over its past rankings of 123 in 2013 and 137 in 2012.
