Unsustainable Water Management in India
Published on by Asit Biswas, Distinguished Professor at University of Glasgow in Case Studies
India’s water management has been on an unsustainable path for centuries. Its record on wetlands management has been even worse. Over the past 500 years, India’s water management practices have improved slowly and at best incrementally, even though its water demands have grown exponentially. Not surprisingly, India’s water situation has deteriorated steadily with time. It is now precarious. India is now facing a water crisis that no earlier generation ever had to face in its entire history.

If there are any opportunities for microorganism driven engineered systems available, I would love to assist. We engineer and install these systems. They can treat and clean up contaminated areas. It's not rocket science, it's bio science. It works in the wetlands of the southern united states. We have soil science to prove it and I just came back from India. Please let me know if there are any opportunities in the Bangalore area. Thank you....
