Vietnam Water Supply and Sanitation Programme Completed

An important national programme for the improved well-being of the Vietnamese rural people on water supply and sanitation was successfully completed with a workshop on November 27 .jpg)
Under this programme, approximately 30 million people in the rural area in Vietnam has been provided with hygienic water and 5 million rural house with hygienic latrines during the period 1999 – 2015.
Denmark is proud to substantially contributing to these remarkable results with provision of hundreds of millions of US dollars grant to the water sector in Vietnam since 1990s.
Ambassador Charlotte Laursen attended the workshop and received a medal for Denmark’s grand support to the water and sanitation sector in Vietnam for the past 20 years.
