The company's environmental, health, safety and sustainability policy drives programs that reduce environmental impacts, including those related to water use and wastewater discharges. To meet the EPA’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) compliance they needed to address issues around chlorides and total dissolved solids from their water softeners.
