  1. Dear WWTP Designers.

In Developing countries like India, facing power shortage, less skills and capability to handle lower level technology, we will have less mechanised and more manual WWTP Designs.

We evolve fail safe with ample-redundancy and reserve capacity in our WWTPs.

Hence the WWTPs are more down to earth and may be termed old-fashioned but very reliable at all times.

One such system employed is Dewats Type popularised by GIZ and CDD with German origin.

The devices employed are simple Septic Tanks with varied forms of filteration and inclusive of phyto-remediation and aeration provided by sprays or fountain arrangement which provides campus-aesthetics and with other benefits.

The remedied water is used in communities for irrigation of farms, gardens, parks traffic islands Etc.

The water is also passed thro floats in a water-body pond. Floats grow elephant grass and they are harvested as crop after crop used as feed for dairy animals, poultry-eggs and others.

All these mechanisms are monitored on lab-tests and control done.

As produces are realised,  the WWTP mechanism is maintained to sustain.

We wish to know if these WWTP systems can be presented in your Forum.pl.

    Well wishes.
