Water Company Suez Picks Up 310 Million Euros of Asia Contracts

Suez Environnement (SEV), the second-largest water company in Europe, said it won contracts inHong Kongthat include transferring dewatered sludge by boat for treatment and the renewal of a waste collection agreement in Macau valued at 310 million euros ($407 million).
The Paris-based utility said in a statement that its Sita subsidiary as part of a 10-year contract for the North Lantau Transfer Station will be managing waste for the largest of Hong Kong's islands, including Hong Kong International Airport and Disneyland park.
