  1. I listened intently for solutions but failed to find them. For the only solution to the global water threat we need to rethink how we waste water. Think about the term for a minute Wasting water. Operation OASIS addresses all of the major issues we face today be recycling waste water from countries that discharge it into the sea, treated or un-treated. Bulk shipping uses sea water as ballast to return back to country of origin after discharging it's cargo. Take a super tanker for example. 1/3 of it's capacity is used to transport some 150,000 cubic meters of sea water back to a desert coastline and discharges it back into the ocean, while the coastal land is thirsty for water. If we use treated waste water for ballast instead, we can restore the coastal forests in the driest places on Earth and in doing so encourage clouds to cross on to the land by moving the thermal barrier inland. Together with the evaporation from the waste water used to grow food and timber resources, we can change the micro and macro climate in these regions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHhXqzk7LhE

  2. wonderful talk and easy concepts if we follow them properly, surely we can mange the water in better way.
