WaterTAP and Isle Utilities Announce Partnership

The Water Technology Acceleration Project (WaterTAP) is pleased to announce its partnership with Isle Utilities to host the second set of Technology Approval Group (TAG) meetings.

logo (3).pngTAG is a distinctive innovation forum that allows water and wastewater utilities to investigate emerging water sector technologies that have been pre-qualified and vetted by Isle’s global network of experts. In the forum, presenting technology companies address the specific challenges of municipal participants along both water and wastewater technology tracks, including shortcomings of incumbent technologies, current process challenges, and future regulatory and treatment requirements.

Given the large number of emerging technologies, TAG allows utility managers to effectively access and assess the most promising solutions in the marketplace effectively, among their peers. Likewise, this forum provides technology providers with access to key decision makers. This direct connection creates an invaluable feedback loop to support the uptake of innovative solutions. On average, 50% of end users follow up with technology providers with 25% resulting in a discussion about a trial or sale.

“Ontario boasts many successful contributions to the global water industry. Isle is thrilled to partner with WaterTAP to further innovation by supporting utilities as they search for technical solutions,” said Cristina Ahmadpour, President, Isle Utilities, North America. “We are looking forward to delivering this second year of TAG to an eager group of end users, as well as strengthening our partnership with WaterTAP in the years to come.”
