WRc and Arup form Strategic Partnership

Global engineering and professional services consultancy Arup has formed a strategic partnership with WRc, the Centre of Excellence for Innovation in the water, waste and gas sectors, to tackle UK water sector issues
The partnership will begin with an innovation project, details of which will be unveiled in the forthcoming months, while Mark Smith, CEO, WRc, will also contribute to Arup’s ‘inDepth Water Perspectives’ – a new global research document being launched in November 2015.
The agreement provides a unique platform to meet a growing need for technology evaluation and accelerated adoption across the water, waste and environmental sectors, the companies say.
Commenting on the new partnership, Mark Fletcher, Arup’s Global Water Leader said: “I have the highest regard for the team at WRc, recognising them as global leaders for industry insight, independent technology evaluation and innovation. I can see the real value in developing this strategic partnership for the benefit of the sector, technology providers and industry users. I am looking forward to the opportunity to bring something new to our clients”.
