Seeing is believing! Using videos to improve agricultural production

It's no doubt that agriculture is an integral part of all our lives, and its importance is only set to escalate. With an ever increasing world population, consistent urban drift and climate change, increased food production combined with sustainable agricultural systems is vital. As ICTs are now setting the pace in innovative ways of farming, theuse of video tools to achieve more successes is also becoming paramount.

At the 1st day of theICT4AgConference ,Andrew Sukani , the Communications and Outreach Officer for the Department of Fisheries at the Malawi College of Fisheries, will be speaking on how they have successfullyused video technology to encourage the extensive use of palm fruits for fish smoking in the Mangochi district .
