  1. Thanks Markus. What is your opinion about this standard? Was the WFN part of the team that developed it? Is it compatible with the WFN standards?

    1. Dear Rita, thank you for your query. Alas I can not provide any information regarding that matter. I am not involved in this in any respect. And the ISO process is not being made public. Others in this group may be able to provide information. I believe that we have experts here that could help. I am also curious to find out more. The ISO process has a strong LCA focus, so maybe this document, where the authors reflect on water-related LCA and WFA, may be of use: Boulay, A.M., Hoekstra, A.Y. and Vionnet, S. (2013) Complementarities of water-focused Life Cycle Assessment and Water Footprint Assessment, Environmental Science and Technology, 47(21): 11926-11927. availalbe at: www.waterfootprint.org/Reports/Boulay-et-al-2013-LCA-WFA.pdf However, it does not answer your question. Sorry. But we will know more regarding the ISO soon, as the blog post by Quanits announces. Markus
