Tous les déchets collectés sur l'île hors saison estivale et estivale produisent 800/1000 tonnes de déchets ménagers. une partie est constituée par de l'organie alimentaire et avec le concept : réduction des déchets ménagers-lyseconcept je pense être en mesure de réduire environ 400 tonnes de déchets sur place avec l'obejctif de développer de la biodiversité végétalisée. De 300 résidents permanents on passe à 100 000 / jour en période estivale. plusieurs site d'assainissement traditionnel sont reconverti en site pilote d'assainissement biologique réparti sur l'ensemble de l'île.
