1. African Leadership Academy -- Anzisha Prize for Young Innovators 2014. The Anzisha Prize is awarded to young innovators (ages 15-22) in Africa who develop and implement innovative solutions to challenges facing their communities. Past awards include innovations in energy, agriculture, and ecological consumer products. 2. l'Agence Inter-établissements de Recherche pour le Developpement (AIRD) -- Research Partnership with Ivory Coast. The AIRD and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Ivory Coast are renewing their research partnership. Grants up to €130 thousand will support joint research in subject areas that include biodiversity and food security, energy, and water and environment (among others).
