Waste Water Engineer (Food & Beverage)
Summary:
Currently, Aquatech has an immediate need for a fulltime, Biological Waste Water Engineer to work remotely. The hours Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Biological Waste Water Engineer will report to the Director of TWM Applications and will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee.
- Responsible for conceptualization, process design and implementation of biological wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
- Review RFQ requirements and specifications and prepare suitable proposal including process design, process & equipment sizing calculations, performance guarantees, costing and consolidated list of exceptions and clarifications.
- Coordinate, check and complete PFDs, Hydraulic Flow diagram, P&ID’s, General Arrangement drawings and other proposal documents.
- In case of successful bid, preparation of Turnover Document, prepare initial process submissions, incorporate customer comments, timely resubmissions and closure to approved status.
- Support correspondence with customer via sales manager/project manager pre/post award. Attend technical meetings with customers as required.
- Internal communication with all departments: Mechanical & Electrical Design, Projects, Commissioning etc.
- Soliciting quotes from vendors and negotiations during proposal preparation.
- Responsibility includes supporting efforts for development of design guidelines and design manual for wastewater biological treatment processes.
- Domestic and International travel may be required.
- The candidate will be able to communicate effectively internally and with customers and maintain positive attitude and good organizational skills, plan and manage multiple tasks or projects, and apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Job Description:
- Will work for TWM group
- Independently develop, configure and optimize water and waste water treatment processes from inception to startup
- Prepare budgetary, as well as firm proposals
- Carry out process calculations, P&ID, process block diagram, water balance diagram, component selection, sizing, etc.
- Estimate equipment/projects
- Process documentation & operating instructions
- Perform risk assessment
- Identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations
- Sales support, technical presentations and technical meetings with customer
- Special projects as assigned

- Knowledge of Biological Waste Water Process

Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-5 years’ experience in waste water industry
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Field
