Job Description

The Engineering Intern will work on product prototype design and build projects for breakthrough UV-C LED technology into water disinfection systems. The individual will require a sound technical background, coupled with strong communication skills in collaborating interdepartmentally with sales, manufacturing, engineering, and R&D.

Position can be flexible with the individual’s class schedule and is estimated to be no more than 10 hours a week.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists with designs and redesigns, testing, and identifying problems to helps improve system performance and reliability.
• Perform product design prototypes of water disinfection systems
• Test prototypes and standard products and document results
• Perform other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will:

• Be working towards Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Be capable of hands-on prototype assembly using hand tools
• Be proficient in AutoCAD and Solidworks
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Have excellent task management & organization skills
