Description:
As a UPW/Waste Water Engineer at Micron Fab 10W, you will report to Section Manager and will join an existing team of engineers responsible for UPW/Waste Water systems projects, maintenance and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for UPW, Industrial Waste Water and Fluoride Waste systems, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
- Respond to issue and interruptions to system and perform troubleshooting. Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise improvement/upgrading/new projects for UPW, Industrial Waste Water, Fluoride Waste systems
- Carry out system capacity study to meet Manufacturing requirement.
- Identify and execute water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption.
- Identify/implement new technologies for UPW and Waste Water system to achieve technology breakthrough.
- Carry out cost estimates and analysis of proposed projects.
- Responsible for maintaining various administrative and engineering database in support of job tracking, engineering data, and costing.
- Review and improve Operation and Maintenance Standard Operating Procedure and Risk Assessment.
- Be aware of and perform all work in accordance with company safety guidelines.
- Good communication and collaboration within Facilities Sections and with all customers throughout the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Relevant working experience in Semiconductor or Pharmaceutical industries will be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Self motivated worker
- Posses good team working and multi-tasking capabilities
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and address root causes
- Strong organizational, leadership and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize work
