  1. we use centralized small sand filters at community level. The biggest advantage of slow sand filtration is that water treatment is centralized at a small number of locations.

  2. Filtration is Old -New Technique in water Purification ,thats it is remove both living and non-living Organism ,The Slow Sand Filter is Employed as a numbers of layers of Fine Sand- Course Sand and Gravels ,the pores within and between the sand particles traps the pathogens such as E.Coli and when numbers of pathogens percolated deeply through the sand it is also die due to luck of oxygen and nutrition , the large size of pathogens such as larva and Heleminthus and worms remaining at the top surface of the sand filter and die of due restriction from grow and develop However The sand Filter Is very effective in water purification that's it can remove the turbidity as well Re-Washing Technique should be considered when we construct a sand filter to keep it ready with high efficiency at any time

  3. We use Sand filters because colorization we need to do it daily and people dont want that. Sand filters once setuped its going to be very handy. but technically colorization is most effective.
