  1. Water management system is indeed a very wide system with variety of topics which cant be explained in single book by a single author. There are different post by WASH experts in different books, websites of various international organizations where you can get updated information. Some of the suggested readings are. 1) Water Resources Systems Planning and Management The book builds on ‘Water Resources Systems Planning and Analysis’ by Loucks, Stedinger and Haith, published by Prentice Hall in 1981. Download the book or order the website UNESCO publishing and from any of UNESCO's distribution centers. 2) Water Resources Management: Principles, Regulations, and Cases by Neil S. Grigg McGraw Hill Professional, 1996 - Nature - 540 pages. 3) A hand book for integrated water resource management in basins by GWP(global water partnership) 4) Principles of Water Resources: History, Development, Management, and Policy, 3rd Edition by Thomas V.
