What would be your recommendations for introducing non-conventional water treatment units in the spring fed gravity water supply systems in hilly/himalayan terrain, as shown in the youtube link below?
I am asking this question with a view to know about the latest technologies and updates on small-scale water treatment units for rural water supply projects. The major water quality parameters of concern in the spring source water are calcium, turbidity (in rainy season) and bacterial contamination.
