This paper highlighted the negative environmental consequences due to the inappropriate containment of the sanitation facilities in Faridpur, Bangladesh.
Around two-thirds of the wastewater are directly going back to the surroundings though illegal connection of containment to the drains and other sorts of illegal practices which is clearly demonstrating the negative effect like the open defecation.
