Plant escape mechanism, it's a way plant act when it faces a critical situation that might ends its life. In Weed Ecology, the weeds in the hot dry areas, escape the drought conditions by early flowering, early seed production and shattering. As dry conditions prevailed more and more areas, water harvesting becoming more convenient solution.
