How to choose the inner lining of electromagnetic flow meter

With the development of electronic technology, electromagnetic flow meter have been widely used in various industries. For the selection of electromagnetic flow meter, the most important thing is the choice of the inner lining. How to choose the inner lining requires the corrosiveness, abrasion and the temperature of the measured medium, which is as follows:

1. Polychloroprene

Operating temperature -20℃ ~ +60 ℃, it is characterized by excellent elasticity, high tearing force, good wear resistance, and resistance to general low concentration acid, alkali, salt medium corrosion, but not resistant to oxidation of corrosive media. The scope of its application is water, sewage, weak abrasive mud, and pulp.

2. Polyurethane rubber

Operating temperature -20 ℃ ~ +60 ℃, its characteristics have good wear resistance (equivalent to 10 times that of natural rubber) but poorly used in acid and alkali, not used in water mixed with organic solvents. The scope of its application is neutral strong wear of pulp, coal slurry, mud and so on.

3.  Polysilicone rubber

Operating temperature -20 ℃ ~ +180 ℃, its characteristics are excellent elasticity, high tearing force, high-temperature resistance, but not resistant to any concentration of acid, alkali, salt medium corrosion.

4. PTFE

Operating temperature -40 ℃ ~ +170 ℃, it is characterized by the most stable chemical properties of plastic materials, which can withstand boiling hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and aqua regia, and can also withstand concentration and various organic solvents, but not resistant to chlorine trifluoride, high flow rate liquid fluorine, liquid oxygen, ozone corrosion or poor wear performance. The scope of its application is a strong corrosive medium such as concentrated acid and alkali.

5. Polytetrafluoroethylene propylene also called F46

Operating temperature -40℃ ~ +160 ℃, the corrosion resistance of F46 is the same with PTFE, which can withstand low wear, strong resistance to negative pressure. The scope of its application are media of low abrasion.
