On the escalating conflict regarding the the Grand Ethiopian Dam (GERD)

The conflict is escalating among Ethiopia, Egypt, and Sudan, regarding the Grand Ethiopian Dam (GERD), as Ethiopia has already started filling the Dam with the Blue Nile Water. It will take no less than 7 years to completely fill the Dam. This will reduce the amount of water flowing to Egypt somewhere between 5 BCM/yr and 11 BCM/yr (billion cubic meter per year).
