Production and implementation of ceramic water filters, by the poor, for the poor

Published on by in Non Profit

Ceramic raw materials and traditions are nearly everywhere.  Once those who produce such simple clay products as water containers are trained, production and implementation along with their neighbors can be undertaken.  Genuine sustainability will only happen when the poor can afford their water treatment as this model suggests.  Note complete synergy with production and implementation at the same time, of insulating ceramic rocket stoves.  Costs to donors will be cut in half where these interventions are implemented together.
