Dear Peter and dear Alexandros, Please see library of susana.org and forum http://forum.susana.org/gsearch You will find all the guidelines how to construct CW's under cold condition. Do not forget CW do only functioning with a good pre-treatment, best in my opinion even under cold condition an ABR (is more them only an improved septic tank) All the Best Detlef www.aqua-verde.de

Peter, guidelines as you think unfortunately do not exist. There are books and some national guidelines in some countries, but I suggest you dont simply rely on some papers to build a system. It may seem easy to build a treatment wetland but it is not, if you want to be 100% sure it will work effectively. Thus, it is better to ask a specialist. Feel free to contact me and discuss your case (stefanakis.alexandros@gmail.com)
