Shelf Life Of RO Membrane

i am using hydranautics SWC5- LD 40404 membrane in our plant. i am planning to keep some membrane as spare for emergency situation. how log should i store the new membranes as spare? what could be the shelf life of the new RO membrane (with out opening the original package)?

it depends upon preservation ...

it depends upon preservation chemicals. Now mostly dry type membranes are available with longer shelf life, as compared to wet type. dry type membranes are preserved with formaldehyde usually.
