Total carbon measurement

Can anyone advise what the method for Total Carbon (TC) measurement is? In the market, I was told Total organic Carbon (TOC) is measured from Total Carbon (TC) and inorganic Carbon (IC) via CO2 and conductivity measurement, but there is no mention how is TC is being measured. Does anyone have idea?
