Would it worth for wastewater treatment plant operators to invest into bio-treatment of leachate / filtrate with algae to remove nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus?

Dear Csongor, as we know the most imp issue related to siting, planning, design, operation and management of solid waste is management of leachate. We constructed a municipal waste management plant and we largely followed the World Bank Guidelines. I suggest you also go through this documents, it may be of some use to you..http://www.worldbank.org/urban/solid_wm/erm/CWG%20folder/uwp5.pdf
