The Imported Risk -Switzerland’s Water Risk in Times of Globalisation
As part of a globalized economy, Switzerland imports roughly 50 million tonnes of goods every year. Many sectors of the Swiss economy directly or indirectly depend on products from abroad. A large share of these goods originates from regions with water stress. A SDC sponsored WWF report analyses risks for Swiss companies associated with the use of such products and shows ways forward to mitigate those risks.
